(ManTech) Shares of ManTech International Corporation surged more than 15% on Monday after agreeing to be acquired by Carlyle in an all-cash transaction deal of $4.2 billion.
Under the deal, ManTech shareholders will get $96.00 per share, which represents about 32% premium to the company’s unaffected share closing of $72.82 on February 2, 2022.
Carlyle said that ManTech holds an unwavering commitment to supporting customers and their critical missions. He says the expertise and resources it carries would be critical to further acceleration of growth and innovation.
The deal has been approved by ManTech’s board and has recommended that the shareholders approve it. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of the year.
