(Luckin Coffee) Luckin Coffee netted revenues of RMB2.405 billion or $379.3 million in the first quarter of 2022, an increase of 89.5% from the prior year.
The company said that sales from self-operating stores hit RMB1.715 billion or $270.5 million, up 66.2% from the prior year. Same-store sales growth for self-operated stores increased by 41.6%, lower than the 94.5% increase in the prior year.
The company said that its average monthly transacting users improved by 830% from the prior year to hit 16.0 million.
Following robust sales, Luckin Coffee booked an operating income of RMB16.1 million or $2.5 million in the first quarter, compared to a loss of RMB364.0 million in the prior year.
