Li Auto’s Deliveries Slows to a 102.5% Expansion in September on Chip Issues

(Li Auto) Li Auto Inc.’s deliveries in September 2021 reached 7,094 vehicles, an increase of 102.5% from the prior year. The jump was lower than 248.3% posted in August, as activity was slowed down by persistent chip supply issues.

In the third quarter, total deliveries were 25,116, a surge of 190.0% year over year.

The deliveries in the first nine months of this year hit 55,270, with the total deliveries of Li ONEs now at 88,867. 

Li Auto’s co-founder and president Yanan Shen says the company is taking multiple measures to address the shortage of auto parts and shorten the delivery time to users.

LI: NASDAQ is up +1.10% on premarket.
