Intuit Upgrades 2022 Guidance after Revenue Jumps 41% in Q4 2021

(Intuit) Intuit Inc. reported revenue of $2.6 billion in the fourth quarter of 2021, an uptick of 41% from the comparable quarter of 2020. 

For the full year 2021, revenue was $9.6 billion, up 25% year over year.

Operating income was $402 million in the fourth quarter, down 17% from the fourth quarter of 2020. FY21 GAAP operating income was $2.5 billion, up 15%.

GAAP earnings per share was $1.37 in the fourth quarter, down 18% year over year. FY21 GAAP earnings per share was $7.56, up 9% year over year.

In the fourth quarter Credit Karma revenue hit a record $405 million.

Intuit now projects revenue of $11.05 billion to $11.20 billion and GAAP operating income of $2.605 billion to $2.680 billion in FY22.

FY22 GAAP diluted EPS is expected to post a decline of 1% to a growth of 1% or between $7.46 to $7.66, respectively.
