Grayscale Survey Points to Growing US Crypto Uptake With Up to 26% Ownership

(Cryptopotato) A Grayscale Investments survey found that 26% of American investors own Bitcoin, with up to 55% of the HODLers investing in the last 12 months

The Bitcoin ownership reflects growing crypto uptake, with leading investors and personalities such as Barry Sternlicht, Paul Tudor Jones, Orlando Brazo, and New York mayor Eric Adams showing support.

The Grayscale survey revealed that up to 60% of US residents would consider crypto investments.

The percentage of people between 55 and 64 years interested in Bitcoin investment was 46% in 2021, compared to 30% last year, a major shift from initial trends when only youngsters showed interest. Crypto interest among female investors also ticked higher to 53% from last year’s 47%.

Crypto investments happen amid erosions of the fiat currencies as investors migrated to Bitcoin as an inflation hedge. About 55% of respondents in the Grayscale survey consider Bitcoin as a store of value.

The growing enthusiasm also emanates from an earlier stance by the US regulators that they have no plans to ban crypto.

BTCUSD is up +0.83%.
