Users were tempted to send Binance coins or Ether to a crypto wallet and then contact the account’s “token bot” to get the coins.

Users who paid were asked for a second equal amount or they lose their investment.

Duped investors regretted and asked to get the individual behind the scamming account.

The scamming account has been deleted from Telegram even as WallStreetBets moderators warned users of frauds using its name.

At least 3,451 Binance Coin tokens were extracted from the Crypto Pumps messages, accounting for more than $2.1 million at the current Binance coin value.
