(Reuters) China Evergrande Group reported in its Wechat account that 91.7% of its Chinese projects had resumed construction after three months of struggle.
Company Chairman Hui Ka Yan promised in a meeting on Sunday to deliver 39,000 units of properties in December, compared with less than 10,000 units in each of the last three months.
His commitment comes a day after China’s top real estate regulator stated the government would resolutely address risks coming from the overdue delivery of residential properties.
Evergrande disclosed in a statement that it had resumed cooperation with over 80% of decoration companies and suppliers, having signed 6,869 contracts with suppliers of raw materials.
