European Stocks Finish Higher

European stocks ended on a positive note today, with the Stoxx Europe 600 index rising 0.62% to 460.76. The FTSE 100 index increased 0.64% to 7,453.69, the French CAC 40 index gained 0.38% to 7,319.18, and the German DAX increased 0.35% to 16,125.49.

Top Gainers

Ocado Group PLC saw the largest increase today, with its shares jumping 19.0%. This was followed by Dometic Group AB and NEL ASA, which surged 11.9% and 10.9% respectively. S4 Capital PLC and Vistry Group PLC also experienced significant gains, with their stocks rising 6.9% and 5.6% respectively.

Top Losers

The biggest decline among Stoxx Europe 600 constituents was seen in Tele2 AB Series B, with shares plunging 10.6%. Hexagon AB Series B and Husqvarna AB Series B also saw a decline in their stocks, dropping by 4.3% and 3.2% respectively. Auto1 Group SE and Knorr-Bremse AG rounded out the top five largest decreases with their stocks weakening by 2.7% and 2.5% respectively.

Currency and Commodity Performance

The pound was down 0.23% against the dollar, while the euro was down 0.14%. Brent crude gained 1.27% to $79.50.

Bond Yields

The yield on the 10-year gilt fell by 9.42 basis points to 4.340%, while the yield on the German 10-year bund fell by 9.460 basis points to 2.39%.
