(Ericsson.com) Telecom’s gear maker Ericsson has agreed to a $8.3 billion deal with Verizon Communications for the deployment of a 5G network in the US.

Ericsson is expected to deliver cutting edge 5G solutions and software to expand and strengthen Verizon’s 5G network.

The 5G network is expected to help consumers, businesses, and the US public sector.
