(Twitter) Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal says Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk has decided not to join the social media giant’s board despite taking a 9.2% stake in the company.
Agrawal says he, Twitter’s board, and Musk have held discussions about the Tesla CEO joining the board.
The Twitter CEO says they are excited to collaborate and clear the risks saying that they still remain open to the input of Musk, since he is the biggest shareholder of the company.
The latest announcement now calls off Musk’s move into Twitter’s board which was to become effective 4/9.
Musk’s move comes after teasing payments in crypto DOGE for Twitter services over the weekend.
