Electronic Arts Raises Guidance After a 3% YoY Uptick in Net Bookings

(EA) Electronic Arts Inc. reported net bookings for the trailing twelve months of $6.136 billion, a gain of 3% year over year.

EA’s total revenues for the three months that ended June 30 was $1,551 million, up from $1,459 million in the comparable quarter of 2020.

Net income for the quarter ended June 30 was $204 million or $0.71 diluted earnings per share, down from $365 million or $1.25 in the comparable quarter of 2020.

The company repurchased 2.3 million shares in the quarter, up from 0.7 million shares in the comparable quarter of 2021. 

EA now expects revenue to be about $6.850 billion in FY22 and net income of $456 million or diluted EPS of $1.58 in the same period.

EA’s net bookings are projected to be $7.40 billion in FY22.
