Guggenheim cofounder Todd Morley is supporting the construction of a blockchain tower in New York, according to Bloomberg. The network tower is aimed at strengthening blockchain-based communication and trading in the city.
Set to become NY’s tallest building, Morley said it would hold the world’s largest NFT museum.
With the tower, NY residents will access wireless transactions like crypto trading, means of showcasing new technological development, and display NFTs.
Morley’s Overline will collaborate with real estate developer JDS Group in the project to kickstart by end of year.
Overline is looking for other ways to make use of the tower and Morley believes improvement of crypto tech and cryptocurrencies could standardize investment for benefiting humans.
Morley feels that large scale distribution of utility functions and access to assets is necessary as technologies such as bitcoin move fast all over the world.
NFTs are digital assets like images, video, or audio running on blockchain technology and cannot be exchanged.
