Dell Announces a Record 15% Jump in Revenue in the Second Quarter of 2022

(Dell) Dell Technologies announced a record revenue of $26.1 billion in the second quarter of 2022, up 15% year over year.

For the six months of fiscal 2022, Dell’s revenue was $50.61 billion, up 13% from the comparable period of fiscal 2021.

The company’s operating income rose 21% year over year to $1.4 billion in the second quarter. Six-month operating income was $2.75 billion, up 49% year over year. 

Net income hit $0.9 billion in the second quarter, down 20% from the comparable quarter of 2020. The six-month net income was $1.818 billion, up 42% year over year.

Diluted earnings per share was $1.05 in the second quarter, down 23% from the second quarter of 2020. Half year diluted EPS was $2.18, up 40% year over year.
