(CryptoCompare) Cryptocurrency exchanges have witnessed more than 40% slump in trading volumes in June digital tokens. Traders were cautious of China’s crackdown and lower volatilities.
Spot trading volumes declined by 42.7% to $2.7 trillion as derivative volumes shed 40.7% to $3.2 trillion.
Top-Tier spot volumes fell by 41.0% to $2.4 trillion, as Lower-Tier spot volumes shed 53.2% to $317 billion.
Top-tier volumes now dominate by 88.4% share, up from about 47% in December 2019 as investors make more crypto inroads.
Crypto exchange Binance saw trading volumes fall by 56% in June to $668 billion despite retaining the top spot as the biggest crypto platform.
