(Beincrypto) Search giant Google has lifted its ban on crypto-related ads on its platform in line with a new policy that comes into effect on August 3.
The new policy means that wallet providers and crypto exchanges can now place ads of their offerings on Google.
Crypto entities will be required to follow legal requirements at state and federal level and adhere to Google’s ad policies.
Google will still forbid ads relating to ICOs, IDOs, token liquidity pools, crypto endorsements by celebrities, unregulated decentralized aps, and unhosted wallets.
The new policy by Google was first published in June, with the search giant promising to effect it on August 3.
