Crowdstrike Almost Doubles Losses to $57.3 M in Q2 Despite a Jump in Revenues

(Crowdstrike) Crowdstrike announced a net loss of $57.3 million in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2022, compared to a loss of $29.9 million in the same period last year.

The company widened its net loss to $142.3 million in the first half of the year from a loss of $49.1 million in the corresponding period the prior year. 

The total revenue for the second quarter jumped to $337.7 million, from $199.0 million in the same quarter of 2020. Subscription revenue increased by 71% to $315.8 million.

Crowdstrike’s first half-year revenue results were $640.5 million, an increase compared to $377.0 million for the six months ended July 31 last year.

Crowdstrike is projecting a revenue of between $358.0 million and $365.3 million in the third quarter, and $1.3 billion and $1.4 billion in the full-year results.

The company expects its non-GAAP income from operations to range between $29.4 million and $34.7 million in the third quarter, and $138.5-152.1 million in full 2022 fiscal year results.
