UBS projects that around $140 trillion of investment will be spent on the world energy supply decarbonization by 2050, reports CNBC. The analysts predicted while the energy transition might be a once-in-a-generation investment opportunity, there are countless ways to play the theme.

UBS says the world will need to top 55% in clean energy to achieve net-zero emissions.
Currently, clean energy makes up 15% of the total consumed globally.
