Charlie Bit My Finger to Exit YouTube after Fetching $760,000 in NFT Auction

Viral video “Charlie bit my finger” will be removed from YouTube, according to Forbes. The move happens after it was sold for $760,000 as a non-fungible token.

Published in 2007, the short video involves Charlie, an infant, biting his brother Harry’s finger.

The sale followed intense bidding on 23 May and carries along an opportunity to create a parody involving grown up stars.

The delete of the video from YouTube will allow the buyer to be the “sole owner” of the clip.

The auction happens amid the rising craze involving digital art, with Beeple’s NFT fetching $69.3 million in auction in March.
