CCB’s First Half Year Profit Jumps 10.92% Buoyed by Financial Inclusion

(China Construction Bank) China Construction Bank’s net profit increased 10.92% to RMB154.106 billion in the first half-year of 2021 compared to the same period of last year.

CCB’s extended loans and advanced payments went up by 7.78% or RMB 1.26 trillion from that at the end of 2020.

The group’s deposit balance was RMB 22.32 trillion, an increase of 8.26% or 1.7 trillion compared to that at the close of 2020.

The non-performing loans reported by the bank was RMB277.0 billion as of June, an increase of RMB16.3 billion from that reported at the end of 2020.

The ratio of non-performing loans dropped by 0.03% to 1.53%, in comparison to that at the end of 2020, with a provision coverage ratio of 222.39%.
