C3 AI Inks a $500 Million 5-Year Deal to Accelerate AI with the Department of Defense

(C3.ai) C3 AI Inc. has been awarded a $500 million 5-year deal by the US Department of Defense for the use of its Enterprise AI products.

The deal allows the Department of Defense to obtain C3 AI products and services for deployment in research modeling and simulation. 

C3 AI CEO Thomas M. Siebel says the new deal has DOD-wide scope, with use-cases and deployment across all of the department’s branches. 

The agreement is expected to increase the use of C3 AI Suite, intelligence, and defense applications that have been used in other operational areas such as Space Command and Air Force.
