Crypto solutions Blockchain.com has moved its headquarters in the US from New York City to Miami, according to the company’s press release. The move reflects the firm’s expansion plans.
Blockchain.com aims to engage in aggressive hiring in Miami and invest in the local STEM community.
The company plans to hire 100 employees on a full-time basis by the end of this year and another 200 next year.
Blockchain.com cites Miami’s favorable regulatory environment for crypto innovation and its mayor’s support of tech as key to the relocation.
Blockchain has about 32 million verified users spread in more than 200 countries and boasts a $5 billion post-money valuation.
