Bitcoin Core Update Allows Support for Apple’s M1 Family Chips

(Twitter) Web3 developer and researcher Zhixiong Pan has announced the release of the final update of the Bitcoin Core 23.0 version.

Pan says the version includes the addition of macOS ARM build, which potentially allows native support for Apple Silicon or M1 family, the Bitcoin Core version of the chip.

Pan further added that using the half-year upgrade cycle for Bitcoin Core, the next version, 24.0, will come in October.

While revealing that the Bitcoin Core client had silently published the update’s final version, Pan stated that it is these kinds of users that help Bitcoin to remain decentralized.

Bitcoin Core is programmed to identify blockchains with valid BTC transactions. This allows users to only use the validated blockchain for BTC transactions.

BTCUSD is up +0.07%.
