(CoinDesk) Binance.US has selected Solana’s metaverse platform, Portals, for a virtual office space where it will showcase latest news, events, and charts.
Zachary Tindall, a Binance.US spokesperson, says the virtual space will act as a gathering place for the crypt exchange’s users.
Tindall says the metaverse space is the first of many steps the exchange is taking to reach its community.
FTX.US is also considering a virtual office in Portals, with the platform becoming attractive due to the high speeds on the Solana blockchain.
Various Solana projects that include Magic Eden, Audius, Raydium, and Bonfida, and others already have a presence in the Portals metaverse.
The news comes amid a growing metaverse craze, with the other platforms such as The Sandbox and Decentraland welcoming companies onboard.
