Barclays appoints Tim Main as Head of EMEA Investment Banking

In a move to bolster their investment banking operations in Europe, Barclays has appointed Tim Main as the new Head of EMEA Investment Banking. 

Main, who joins from J.P. Morgan, will be responsible for the overall strategy and execution of the investment banking business across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. 

He will report directly to Tom King, CEO of Barclays’ Corporate and Investment Bank. “I am delighted to welcome Tim to Barclays,” said King. 

“He is a highly experienced banker with an impressive track record in advising clients on some of the most complex and high-profile transactions in the market.” 

Main added: “Barclays is a world-class institution with an extremely strong franchise in investment banking. 

I am excited to be joining at such an important time for the business and look forward to working with my colleagues across EMEA to build on our success.”
