(Twitter) The ethereum-linked sidechain that hosts the Axie Infinity play-to-earn game is set to reopen on June 28.
The Ronin development team said it had previously scheduled to restart the Bridge this Thursday, but it got delayed.
The team says that to restart the Bridge, a network hard fork will be needed, where the validators plan to upgrade the software.
The restart plans happened after the Bridge was closed after getting hacked three months ago. The hack, reportedly executed by a North Korean group dubbed Lazarus, resulted in the loss of $600 million.
Axie Infinity has promised to reimburse investors affected by the hack when the Bridge resumes on Tuesday.
