Aura Rocket Review – Exploring Rocket-Powered Trading

Aura Rocket uses a hyperparameter search system together with deep machine learning for accurate entry point detection. Additionally, the FX EA uses multilayer perception to refine the entry points. It also uses the Aura Turbo grid expert strategy along with auxiliary proprietary indicators for its approach.

This trading tool works mainly on the XAUUSD pair. It costs $995, which according to the developer will soon increase to $1295. You can also choose to rent the product by paying $295 for a three-month rental, $450 for 6 months rental, and $595 for a one-year rental.

When compared to the market average, we find the pricing is exorbitant. Further, there is no money-back guarantee for the product which makes us suspicious of its reliability.

Aura Rocket trading strategy

According to the developer, the system uses a unique approach that involves the use of machine learning. Hyperparameter optimization is used by the system for minimizing the loss function on independent data. The FX robot uses a trend-following approach with each order using an SL for protection. It does not use risky approaches such as the grid, arbitrage, scalping, and Martingale.

The author explains that you can use the robot for long-term trading using low risk with every trade safeguarded by a hard SL. In higher-risk settings, he warns that the drawdown will be higher but with high possible returns. In the Rocket mode which uses the maximum risk, the EA can double its deposit or can lose the capital.

Aura Rocket features

Some of the important features of the system that make it competitive as per the developer are:

  • The FX EA uses a hard SL and TP for every position.
  • It is not sensitive to broker conditions but a lower spread is recommended.
  • The FX robot is fully automated and easy to install.
  • It is a FIFO compatible and FTMO suitable system.
  • A timeframe of H1, a minimum deposit of $100, and the minimum leverage of 1:20 are the main recommendations for the FX EA.

Aura Rocket review summary

  • Strategy – 4/10
  • Functionality & Features – 4/10
  • Trading Results – 3/10
  • Reliability – 3/10
  • Pricing – 4/10

Aura Rocket uses a trend-based approach to make precise and successful entries. The developer provides backtesting results that reveal low risk and high performance. However, our evaluation of the FX robot reveals that the good performance in the backtests is not replicated in the real trading results. The loss in the real trading account reveals poor risk management by the system. Further, the expensive pricing and the lack of a money-back guarantee are other shortcomings we noticed in the system.
