(AMC) Shares of AMC rose more than 5% in premarket on Tuesday after reporting revenues of $785.7 million in the first quarter of 2022. The revenue was a rise from $148.3 million in the prior year and was higher than estimates of $743 million.
AMC said that its net loss was $337.4 million in the first quarter, better than a loss of $567.2 million in the prior year.
Adjusted EBITDA loss was reported at $61.7 million compared to a higher loss of $294.7 million in the prior year.
AMC said it ended the quarter with a liquidity of $1.376 billion.
