(Twitter) Social media giant Twitter has started allowing users to add Ethereum addresses to tip content creators.
The announcement comes some months after Twitter rolled out bitcoin tips through the Lightning network on mobile.
The Ethereum support now broadens the social media’s forays into cryptocurrency. Earlier in the month, Twitter started to allow its Blue subscription service members to verify their non-fungible token pictures.
Twitter’s Tips allows users to add third party payment services links to their profiles. Users can support by tapping the Tips icon to send Bitcoin and now Ethereum though the third-party services or platforms on their profiles.
