Happy News Backtesting Results
Happy News doesn’t have backtest reports. It’s a problem for us because we can’t compare execution on the past 10-20 years data. We’re sure that the developers had this data but decided not to share it.
Happy News Live Trading Results
We’ve got a demo USD account on Fort Financial Services. The robot trades automatically with 1:500 leverage on the MT4. This account has a verified track record. It was created on February 25, 2016, and funded at $6232. Since then, the absolute has become +442.62%. An average monthly gain is +2.95%. The maximum drawdown was 32.19%. The EA systematically wastes the account balance.
This year, it was -25.79% so far.
The robot closed 702 deals with 918.8 pips. An average win (4.05 pips) is almost four times less than an average loss (-15.00 pips). Win-rate is between 85% and 86%. An average trade length is about five minutes. The Profit Factor is 1.29.
The robot works with four currency pairs. The most traded pairs are EUR/USD and GBP/USD. The most profitable was EUR/USD ($7017) and USD/JPY ($4744).
As we can see, most trades were opened during breakout hours.
There’s a ladder from Monday (33 trades) to Friday (264 trades). It’s almost impossible to see in trading results.
The account runs with high risks, so the EA has to lose four deals to lose 10% of the account balance.
It didn’t look good when five were lost among the last seventeen deals after reaching -15.0 pips Stop Loss level. It’s how a disaster looks like.
2020’s trading results look horrible.
Happy News Reputation
Happy Forex has a mediocre reputation. Many people argued with them because they sell an EA you need and ten plus EAs in the same pack. More than half of them are officially scammers. As soon as you want to get your money back, they push you to try another robot to find at least a single robot that can make profits.

Conclusion
Happy News was an “ok” EA several years ago. The last trading results showed that it couldn’t be profitable if SL is -150 pips and TP is 10-16 pips. For being profitable, the EA has to trade with a 90%-95% win-rate. Trying this robot is just wasting time and money because you won’t be able to get your money back on time. If the developers were as great in the EA design as they said, they should have fixed the EA to increase its performance.
