(Tokens.com) Canadian investment firm Tokens.com has acquired almost a $2.5 million stake of virtual real estate on Decentraland.
Tokens.com bought 116 parcels of virtual land worth 618,000 MANA, which serves as the native token of Decentraland. The virtual land is about 6,090 square feet.
The investment firm acquired the land through Metaverse Group, a virtual real estate consultant firm.
The investment by Tokens.com is the biggest purchase of its kind by the company. Tokens.com acquired a 50% stake in Metaverse Group in mid-October for $1.68 million.
