U.S. Private Sector Gains Over 300,000 Jobs in November

U.S. private-sector employment rose 307,000 in November, on a seasonally adjusted basis, according to ADP Research press release. Job growth remained positive across all industries and sizes, although the pace continued slowing.

    • Medium businesses, 50-499 employees, added the most jobs at 139,000
    • Small businesses, 1-49 employees, added 110,000 jobs 
    • Large businesses, 500+ employees, added the fewest jobs at 58,000
  • By Sector
    • Service-providing businesses added the most jobs at 276,000
    • Franchise jobs stood at 33,700
    • Goods-producing businesses added the fewest jobs at 31,000
