Tencent Releases Q4, FY20 Results. Revenues Grew 26% Year over Year

Tencent recorded revenues of RMB 133,669 million or $20,486 million in Q4 2020, up 26% from Q4 2019, according to the company’s press release. The revenue was largely helped by a surge in online gaming business. 

FY20 revenue was RMB 482,064 million or $73,881 million, up 28% from 2019.

Q4 operating profit on an IFRS basis was RMB 63,713 million or $9,765 million, up 123% year over year

FY20 operating profit was RMB 184,237 million or $28,236 million, up 55% year over year

Q4 profit on an IFRS basis was RMB 59,369 million or $9,099 million, up 165% year over year.

FY20 profit was RMB 160,125 million or $24,541 million, up 67% year over year

Q4 basic earnings per share on an IFRS basis was RMB 6.240 while diluted EPS was RMB 6.112 

FY20 basic EPS was RMB 16.844 while diluted EPS was RMB 16.523 

Tencent recommended a final dividend of HKD 1.60 per share for FY20, up from HKD 1.20 per share in 2019.Tencent stock is currently declining. 0700: HKG is down 0.80%
