Reserve Bank of India Announces the INR350 billion Treasury Bill Auction

The Government of India treasury bills auction will be held September 23rd, 2020, as announced in the Reserve Bank of India press release. The state Government, the eligible Provident Funds in India, and any person or institution specified by the Reserve Bank will be eligible to participate.

  • The Reserve Bank of India aims to sell 120 billion INR in the 3-month bills
  • 130 billion INR bills are to be sold in 6-month bills
  • India is to sell 100 billion INR in 12-month bills

The combined value of bills is INR350 billion in 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month Bills on Sep. 23rd.
